BRIGHT COLORBLOCKING

I have always been into color blocking but knew that I wasn't the girl to wear bright blue jeans and a bright yellow top. I love it on others but it simply isn't my style. Subtlety is more my cup of tea. Once I got these shoes from Forever 21, I knew the color would look great with my blue clutch and would be the simple bright color blocking look I was going for. I love these heels because of the bright orange color and the cone shaped heel. The heel makes them so comfortable but not taking away from the overall look.

Tribal Print / Outfit Post

Happy Wednesday loves!

Cropped Top: Forever 21 (similar)

Pants: ASOS

Jacket: Bebe (old, similar

I wore this outfit on Mother's Day this past weekend. We had a relaxing, casual day so I wanted to be cute, while still comfortable. I have had these pants for months and have had such a hard time deciding how I wanted to wear them. I found that they made me look much bigger than I really am and no girl wants that. When I paired them with this cropped top and cropped jacket, it gave more of the look that I was going for. I love how roomy and comfortable they are and the fun tribal print.

Saturday Brunch / Outfit Post

Anyone who knows me can tell you, I am a big fan of brunch in the city. There is nothing better than good food and unlimited drinks with good company. My friends and I went to brunch at Calle Ocho in the city this past weekend. I wanted to add pictures of the food and my friends but they were such poor quality. Boo! Anyway, the food was good, there was unlimited sangria with so many options to choose from, and we had a good time. Anytime you are looking for a good brunch in the city, try Calle Ocho.

I also love brunch for the excuse to get dressed up in the middle of the day while the sun is still out and shining. Tropical prints are one of the biggest spring trends and this skirt was perfect for the sunny 80-degree day we had. I also love it because it can be worn during the day without being too much. Just throw on a t-shirt, some jewelry, a clutch, and heels, and my look was complete. It can also be worn with crop tops for a night time look or a blazer and tank for a more professional look. I just love versatile pieces.
