Zoie's Fashion: Grey Fur

I hope you guys had a great week. It seems like the week went by so slow and I am excited for the weekend.  I have so much to do this weekend. It's Christmas season so there is even more to do: gift shopping, tree shopping, pictures with Santa, etc. I will try to squeeze it all in because there are only 2 more weekends and Christmas is here. Because we were taking Christmas pictures last weekend, I got Zoie's hair straightened and she was so in love with the results. You couldn't stop her from looking in the mirror or combing her hands through her hair. She was so excited to pose and show off her hair in her new fur-collared jacket.

Jacket (River Island), Top (Target), Leggings (H&M), Boots (UGG)

She loves this fur-collared jacket because it looks like something mommy wears. So she was feeling herself with her jacket and straight hair. And she practically lives in her UGG boots. As much as she likes all things girly, she is all about comfort so she would wear this boots everyday if I'd let her.

I'm so excited to get my tree this weekend and start decorating the house. I always wait until the last minute to get these things done. What have you done to prepare for the quickly approaching holiday?

5 Trends for Winter

I can't believe it is that time of year again. It is time to start thinking about winter fashion. These 5 trends are sure to be seen all over this winter:

1. Distressed Jeans

This trend seems to have been around for quite sometime but it doesn't seem to be going away for the upcoming season. In fact, it seems to get bigger and bigger as the time goes on. Check out some styles below.

2. Over-The-Knee Boots

If you don't own a pair of over-the-knee boots, please make sure this is one of your next purchases. This style is perfect for almost any outfit. This feminine and classy style looks good with jeans, skirts, or dresses. Check it out below.

3.Camel Coats

A camel coat is a must-have in every wardrobe. It is a timeless piece that can be worn with a casual look: t-shirt, jeans, and timbs or an evening look: pencil/midi skirt or fitted dress and heels. Check out some of the options below:

4. Flared Jeans

Gone are the days when your only option for jeans are skinny or slim-fit. The flared jean or bell-bottoms, as we called it back in the day (I'm getting old!!!), has made a come-back. Wear with a fitted top, nice chunky belt, and platforms or heels are a must!

5. Fringe

Fringe is here in a big way. You can find fringe on bags, shoes, ponchos, dresses, or jackets. I love the western feel it gives to simple looks. Check out some fringed pieces below:

Pink Bombshell

Bomber Jacket: Forever 21 (old, similar style) | Jeans: H&M | Pumps: Steve Madden | T-Shirt: H&M (similar style) | Necklace: Aldo (SO CUTE)
I am completely obsessed with bomber jackets this season. With the weather that we have been experiencing, it is a perfect item to have in your closet. They are super cute and warm enough for the warmer fall days. I love this bomber because it is not your traditional black or army green. The pink color is very girly and gives a nice twist to your standard flight jacket. I decided to pair the jacket with my Steve Madden pumps to take a casual look and make it a little more chic.

Make sure to check out some cute bomber jackets below. I'm sure you will fall in love, too!

Baby It's Cold Outside: Faux Fur

Faux Fur

1. River Island 2. River Island 3. Topshop 4. Choies 5. Boohoo

Now that the holiday season has begun, I can't help but to start thinking of the colder weather that should be fastly approaching. I have always wanted a fur coat but because I can't afford the real thing, I have been looking at some faux fur options. I love these coats because they are an automatic statement maker. You can wear with any simple outfit and your coat will do all the talking.

All the options shown here are less than $250 but look much more expensive. I can't wait to buy one and style through the winter!!!

Later! XOXO
